A Poem by Rachel Bea Lieberman "Nana" Nana By Rachel Lieberman Tenafly Middle School - Period 6/7 Draft three 01/13/04 She walks through the airport with her fancy hats, different colors that come off the tall silver rack. Whenever I saw her it was fun, she was great. I remember vividly the time, she left the cigarette that she had smoked in the street. I told her to stop, because I thought my house would blow up, but later I realized, that was not the reason, she had to stop. Soon enough she started to feel ill. The doctor told her that she had cancer. My mom told me it was from smoking. It is unbelievable how a cigarette Can lose someone's life. Now, That she is gone |
