Artist's Statement
Rachel May Klein is an art graduate with a cosmopolitan background, having lived in Tel-Aviv, London, Phoenix, and currently residing in Teaneck, NJ. Ever since her childhood participation in art shows, she has developed under leading artists in Israeli schools. Besides painting, she also headed a local newpaper where she wrote and edited a section for children with shor stories and pictures.
Rachel describes her art to be focused on "enclosures and freedom, on interrelationships and continuums, and on the beauty in life". Utilizing rich colors, the artist conveys vehemence yet maintains gentleness and sensitivity.
Rachel May Klein says, "The material that I use expresses different stages of life- Renewal & Rebirth.
