From these crowded-with-honors activities Barbara Kozell emerges with a driving intensity to impart her hard-earned expertise to those interested in expression through the medium of oil painting. In her filled-to-capacity classes she imparts the basics of form, color and composition--simultaneously encouraging students to develop their own techniques and styles, to express their individuality. "Tap the creative vein that is in each and every one of you", is her earnest admonition.

Through Barbara Kozell's realistic paintings, at times tempered with an impressionist flair, plus the diverse body of work from enthusiastic students, she is enriching the world around us, creating and inspiring works of fantasy and art, acclaimed beauty and dramatic emotional impact.
