"VANNI" - MAURO ROSI

Art offers the possibility to transform time and space. Throughout painting and especially in portraiture time is constant and relentless. Through his refined and detailed style Mauro Rosi "Vanni" is a faithful heir to capture an authenticity that time has taken out of reality. By utilizing light and color from his broad palette to help to convey his accurate portraits and unfailing romantic views of his beloved Rome, the city that "Vanni" is so closely linked to. Roman squares, monuments and streets scenes both exist and seem to have a reality that almost speaks to the viewer. "Vanni" style which is so skillful and delicate, it has a special sensitivity. Mauro Rosi "Vanni" is a juggle of time in a city that is timeless.

Born is Rome in 1960, Mauro Rosi studied at the Scuola Professionale Geometri "Ugo Bordoni" in 1974, successfully completing the curriculum and receiving his diploma in 1979. "Vanni" is a successful artist that likes to spend his time painting in the historical parts of Rome and can be found exhibiting his works at the Piazza Navonna since 1983.

Mauro Rosi "Vanni" exhibits at the following galleries in Rome: Baldissera, Galleria degli Artisti and Societa La Strada. In Vincenza: Biggie Best, Galleria S. Paolo and Pozzan. Internationally "Vanni" has exhibited at Midgard &CO of Norway, Woodlynne Design in Michigan, Artwork Framing Gallery of California and Pace Arte Gallery of Brazil.
